$ What I have been doing
Since my last position at TalkDesk I have been dealing with family issues that have taken most all of my days. I have kept up with my tech skills by building a small homelab using Docker.
Some of the things I am running are Jellyfin, Sterling PDF, AdGuard, NGINX web server for learning HTML and CSS, Homebase among other servers that have come and gone. As I use Linux exclusively at home, I have been able to keep up on my Linux skills both on my workstation and the mini-PC's I am using in my home lab.
$ What I am looking for
I am looking for a part time contract role. For now I am looking to work on a 1099 but eventually will incorporate to work C2C.
$ Work/Life balance
Due to my (fairly) rural location in Minnesota I am looking for remote work only. I have a decade of experience working remotely and honestly get more done without a daily commute.
$ Tech Skills
My primary skill is as a Linux System Administrator – I am distro agnostic so I have experience in all the major enterprise. I am also very proficient at BASH Shell Scripting.
